SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee recommends to City Council the continuation of
concessionaire use at Legacy Beach for the summer of 2007.
Attached is a letter from the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. Kevin Briem (Chairman)
and the Parks and Recreation Director will present.
This action does not approve specific agreements with specific operators, but approves the
concept of continued concession agreements for watercraft rentals in Legacy Park and
authorizes staff to solicit, select and negotiate agreements with concessionaires for future
Council action.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the concessionaires use at Legacy Beach for the summer of 2007, noting that
this action does not approve specific agreements with specific operators, but approves
the concept of continued concession agreements for watercraft rentals in Legacy Park
and authorizes staff to solicit, select and negotiate agreements with concessionaires for
future Council action.
