The minutes of 15 were APPROVED as amended 5-0-0.
The resignation of long time member Bob Wineman was accepted with regret. He
was one of the original members and we thank him for his service
Officers for FY 2009-2010 were elected as follows
Chair Carolyn Kennedy 5-0-0
Cherk Robert Royce 5-0-0
All freshwater pond have been sampled and are awaiting transport to the
National Seashore Lab in Truro. 31 samples
Cedar Pond- SMass has salinity meters at two elevations-the pond level is lower.
There are pond weeds on the surface and it is anoxic at 2.5 meters.
Salinity shows excellent correlation between tides and salinity..16.9
at surface and 23 at the bottom.
Summer estuary sampling has started-all stations covered on the first day.
Judy Scanlon reports seeing salinity in Meadow Bog,Twining is looking worse
and Boland is really bad, Uncle Harvey's is looking better
