RESOLUTION NO. 92 -3178
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND
ADOPTING THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY'S MULTIHAZARD
FUNCTIONAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the preservation of life and property is an inherent
responsibility of local, state and federal governments; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to this responsibility, the City of Temple
City has prepared a Plan which is consistent with the California
Emergency Plan and Emergency Resources Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, the objectives of this Plan are to incorporate all of
the City's resources into an efficient organization capable of
effectively responding to any disaster, and to conduct such
operations as the nature of the disaster requires, whether it be to
combat a local emergency or to assist other jurisdictions should
they suffer an emergency; and
WHEREAS, this Plan has been carefully reviewed by appropriate
authority and is now ready for adoption:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Temple
City does hereby approve and adopt the City of Temple City's
Multihazard Functional Plan as set forth in documentation prepared
by City staff and copies of which are on file at the City Clerk's
Office, Public Services Department and City Manager's Office.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on the 18th day of August, 1992.

I, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution, Resolution No. 92 -3178, was adopted by
the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting
held on the 18th day of August 1992, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmember- Breazeal,Budds, Manning, McGowan
NOES: Councilmember -None
ABSENT: Councilmember- Wilson
