SUMMARY STATEMENT:
As part of the East-West Loop project (now known as West Deinhard Lane) a 7.89 acre site was
obtained and developed as wetlands by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD). The site
serves as mitigation for the wetlands impacted by the construction of the new road. The wetlands
have been established and maintenance responsibility has been transferred to the City. Parks
Department staff has inspected the site and been trained in the proper maintenance and
monitoring of the site.
ITD is prepared to transfer ownership of the site to the City. Attached is an Acceptance of
Warranty Deed form as well as a copy of the Warranty Deed transferring ownership from ITD to
the City.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the transfer of ownership of the wetlands mitigation site and authorize the Mayor to sign
all necessary documents.
