1. Introductions:
The meeting was called to order by Chair Angela Hirsch at 3:40p.m. Self -introductions were
completed by all attendees.
2. Approval of Agenda
Wayne Lee moved to accept the agenda as presented; Mr. Glenn Bonner seconded the motion.
The motion carried without correction, amending, or objection.
3. Approval of Minutes
Mr. Wayne Lee, moved to accept the May 1101, 2021 minutes as presented; Mr. Glenn Bonner
seconded the motion. The motion carried without correction or objection.

S. Transit Administration Report- Mark Mehmert, Transit Director
a. Update on recent activities
i. Replacement/upgrade of paratransit software
1. Mr. Mehmert and Operations Supervisor Gerry Stegeman briefed the
committee and indicated the implementation of the replacement
paratransit software. Staff are being trained on use of the new
software and working towards transition.
Last software update year-1992 (File -maker Pro)
ii. Transit Facilities Feasibility Study update
1. JEFFTRAN facilities (including Central Maintenance) date to 1982.
At 40 years old, they have met or exceeded their useful life. Mr.
Mehmert indicated the study, conducted by CFS Engineers/Dake
Wells, will offer an assessment of current facilities and guidance on
the size, general cost estimate and potential locations for future
facilities. The Transit Advisory Committee will be offered an
overview presentation on the results when the study is completed.
6. Potential fare change discussion
A committee discussion in regards to a potential fare increase was discussed briefly and tabled
for future meeting(s). The last fare increase with the City of Jefferson -Transit Division was in
2007. This topic will be discussed in further detail at upcoming meetings scheduled for FY22.
7. Adjourn
Next meeting is scheduled for January 11, 2022; however, conference room conflict. Transit
staff will notify all committee members with rescheduled date.
A hand-out of the Public Transit Advisory Committee Inclement Weather/Cancellation Policy
and briefly discussed.
Mr. Wayne Lee moved to adjourn at 4:36 p.m., seconded by Mr. Glenn Bonner. Meeting
adjourned.
