Ref: Possible new hangar development
Dear McCall Airport Hangar Owner,
As you are probably aware, the McCall Airport has a critical shortage of hangars
with very little property remaining on which to build. The purpose of this letter is
to inform you that there is a possibility of the unimproved land south of your
hangar being developed for additional hangars (note attached drawing of
probable new taxiway alignment). If this proposal goes through, there is the
likelihood of the city needing to purchase your hangar so as to make way for a
new taxiway. Should that be the case, there are two things which will happen on
your behalf. One, you would be offered the fair market value for your hangar,
and two, your name would be placed at the top of the current hangar waiting list,
thus giving you first right of refusal at one of the new hangars to be built.
To stay abreast of the latest news with regards this proposal, you are welcome to
attend the Airport Advisory Committee meetings the first Thursday of each
month, at noon in Legion Hall (below City Hall) or to monitor the McCall Airport
web site and click the link labeled "What's happening at the McCall Airport".
