Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All members present The minutes of the meeting of October 5, 1969 read. Moved by Raymond Bosch to approve the minutes as read. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson Motion carried. The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of October 20, 1969 read. Acting as a canvassing board the Council gave the following report of the election of November 4, 1969: For Mayor: Wayne Neddermeyer 254 votes Harold Winterhalter 1 " C. O. Dorweiler 1 " Donald Des Lauriers 2" " Ken Hayes 2 " Al Hale 1 " Gordon Tauer 1 " Everett Thies 2 " Robert Roehl 3 " XEMAXIOMMX Bob Scott 1 " Councilman: Harold Winterhalter 223 " George Wyse 51 " Donald Des Lauriers 221 " Wayne Allen " Gene Pulju 1 " Clinton Thies 1 " Roy LeRoux 1 " Registered voters 1040, number of persons voted 296, Tatally defective ballots 3. Moved by Rayburn Anderson to approve the results of eler as submitteed and to declare Wayne Neddermeyer as mayor in*a two yea and Harold Winter - halter and Donald Des Lauriers as councilmen for a three year term each. Beconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Wayne Neddermeyer was then sworn in as Mayor and Harold Winterhalter and Donald Des Lauriers as Councilmen. Two letters from Rolling Green Country Club with regard to lighting Evergreen Road. Moved by Raymond Bosch to authorize installation of street light at the corner of Hvergreen Road and Highwat0101. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Opened bids for new police car. Decisithn to be made later. Mr. Mills reported on Gates extension on sewer and water. Report from the Health Department on Creekside. Discussion of sewer and water clean-up. Letter from William Torodor with regard to the condition left by sewer and water contractor.t. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to instruct the Clerk to write the Underwriters Inspection Bureau asking them to come out and inspect th OgN acilities in the Hamel area with the object to determine the firercias`TrIcation. 174 Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Moved bt} Rayburn Anderson to approve the plans and specificationsamimaftftk submitted by the Mill Engineering with the changes for the man hole in the Creekside Addition to the north of the right of way. Seconded by Raymond Bosch Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to pay the sum of $7,775.33 subject d;o the. penalty provision contained in the contract be ween the Minn -Kota and the Village, penalty consisting of 66 days of $50.00 each and engineering fees of $595.00 and it is further resolved that the check should not be released to Minn -Kota until the balance of the work to be done meets with the approval of the Village Engineer. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. Mr. Joe Miller appeared with regard to getting a permit to move in a house. Moved by Raymond Bosch to grant The building inspectthr authority to issue a permit to Joe Miller to move a house on the Marie Miller farm as a second home as approved by the huilding iispector, and that the home be moved in from Highway #19. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Moved by Rayburn Anderson that we accept the roads within the Tally -Ho Addition with the stipulation that the roads be -graveled as to specifications and we will hold the check for $750.00 for street signs and tree plantings. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Moved by Raymond Bosch to adopt the ordinance #130, an Ordinance Regarding Prohibiting Parking of Commercial Velicles within Residential Districts Within the Village of Medina, Seconded by Harold Winterh4ter Motion carried. Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills as follows: payrolldin the amount of $6,846.92 and order checks in the amount of $55,280.82. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to adjourn. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 11:00 P. M.
