SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On July 28, 2005 City Council adopted Resolution 05-15, Wastewater Policy. This resolution
placed an annual limit on the number of new service connections and directed the City staff to
implement a program to plan, fund, design and construct improvements to the wastewater
system.
On September 22, 2005 City Council amended the Wastewater Policy (Resolution 05-21) to
change the limitation on the number of service hookups to allow for up to 50 hookups per month
for September, October, and November 2005.
This amendment would change the limitation on the number of service hookups and would also
change the methodology for allocating hookups. A staff report and draft of the Resolution are
attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 06-08 and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
