Seton Lindsay Vice Mayor " N.J.Clarke Town Clerk " Wm.J.Bauer Commissioner Harold J. Roig The minutes of the meeting held on March 9th,1953 were read and unanimously apnroved and adopted. Chief 2;. W. Cooper made a report in General. The Commissioners unanimously approved the payment of bills paid by check numbers #1268 -1298 inclusive. Town ''lerk Bauer reported receipts from Occupational Licenses for the month amounting to $10.00 Town "lerk Bauer reported the bank balance as of April 10th,1953 as $10,993.10 Town Clerk Bauer reported that 4,091,000 gallons of water had been purchased from the Gulf Stream Golf Club during the month of March at a cost of $490.91 and resold to property owners for $919.60 The Commissioners unanimously approved the renewal of Fire Contract with the City of Boynton Beach and Town Clerk Bauer was instructed to mail them a check for $400.00 before expiration on "pril 18th 1953. A letter from Mrs. W.L.Lyons Brown dated April 6th, addressed to Mr. Lindsay, was read. She had requested the town to place a marker on the street she lives on, with the name of Driftwood Landing Road. It was the opinion of the Commissioners present, that as this is apparently a private road, the owners may choose any name they desire and erect any marker sign they so desire. Town Clerk Bauer was instructed to inform Mrs. Brown by letter as above. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, IN PALM BRACH COUNTY, FDORIDA, MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO DISCARD, THROW,DEPOSTT OR THROW OR DISCARD FROM ANY AUTOMOBILE, VEHICLE OR OTHERWISE, ANY REFUSE, OR ANY OTHER THING OR SUBSTANCE, ON THE STREETS, ROAD OR HIGHWAYS IN THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, OR ON THE PROPERTY ADJOINING SUCH STREET, ROAD OR HIGHWAY: AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDIN* ANCE: AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON ITS PASSAGE.
