AT THE TOWN HALL ON SATURDAY, APRIL

also present were Messrs: Henry V.Pope, C.H.Dodson, Wm.F.Koch, James
N. Wallace and J.E.Rovenskv.
This special meeting was called for the purpose of duscussing:
(1) A proposed plat submitted by Mr. Henry V.Pope for a new subdivision.
(2) To hear a report from Mr. Wm.Koch on mosquitoe control.
(3) to change date of regular monthly meeting from the second Monday
in each month to the second Saturday in each month.
(k) To discuss Building Permit requested by the Murphy Construction
Company for construction of "Breakwater and Wing Wall of Steel
Pile Construction" at the Gulf Stream Golf Club.
(5) To approve two variances and special exceptions issued to the
Gulf Stream Bath & Tennis Company,Inc.
Mr. Henry V1Pope submitted to the meeting an informal sketch dated
April 20,1953 of certain proposed roads and lots adjoining the
Lagoon between Polo fields #1 and #2 and requested its approval.
On motion duly adopted the request was referred to the Town Planning
Hoard for their study and reservation.
Mr. Wm. Koch made a report on mosquitoe control in general and it was
the opinion of the Commissioners present , and Mr. Koch was so
advised, to obtain actual cost figures to be submitted to the next
Commission Meeting for their action.
Upon motion by Mr. Clarke, seconded by Mr. Roig, and unanimously
approved and adopted, that the regular Monthly meeting of the Town
Commissioners be held on the second Saturday in each month instead of
the second Monday. The first such change in meeting to be held on
May 9th.
The request by the Murphy Construction Company for Building permit to
construct "Breakwater & Wing Wall of Steel Sheet Pile" wad discussed
and it was unanimously noted and adopted that the Commissioners of
the Town of Gulf Stream, could take no action until approval by the
Board of County Commissioners was received in the form of a certified
copy.

WHEREAS two applications have been duly made by the Gulf Stream Bath
and Tennis �ompany,Inc., for special exceptions or variances
from the Town Ordinances in respect to width of side yard
on outh Side of Building on its property on North Ocean
Boulevard, the south side of said property being the °outherly
Boundary of the Town of Gulf Stream,
WHEREAS all applicable conditions to the granting of said special
exceptions or variances have been met, be it therefore
RESOLVED that said special exceptions or variances be and the same
hereby are granted.
There being no furthdr business to come before the meeting,motion
was duly made and seconded to adjourn.
