At the personal request of a property owner, that unsightly lots or

that a letter be written such property owners asking for their co -oper-

Bills paid by Check Numbers #1299 to #1311 inclusive were unanimously
approved.
The entire Commission present approved having mimeographed 200 sets
of the Current Zoning Ordinance at an approximate cost of 496.25
An ordinance making it unlawful for any person to discard, throw,
deposit or throw ordiscard from any automobile, vehicle or otherwise
and refuse, or any other things or substance, on the Streets, Roads or
Highways in the Town of Gulf Stream, or on the property adjoining sucl
street, road or highway; and providing penalties for the violation of
this ordinance and providing that this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon igs passage:
UPON MOTION DULY MADE, SECONDED AND ADOPTED, the above ordinance was
passed on its second reading.
A discussion was held on the Fire Contract submitted to the Town of
Gulf Stream by the City of Boynton Beach.
It was moved and unanimously approved that as soon as the City of
Boynton Beach has been placedin Classification 7 by the Florida Ins-
pection and Rating Bureau, that the rate for Stand By Fird Protection
for the Town of Gulf Stream shall be $1000.00 per annum and that until
the City of Boynton Beach is in Class 7, the rate shall be $400.00
par annum.
There was submitted to the meeting an agreement between the City of
Boynton Beach and the Town of Gulf Stream relative to use of Jail and
Costs. This agreement was unanimously approved subject to approval of
Mr. C.Y.Byrd, Town of Gulf Stream, attorney.

A request for Permit to erect Bulkhead in front of the Gulf Stream
Bath and Tennis Company, was approved subject to their furnishing
the Town with Certified Copy of Approval by the Board of County
Commissioners in accordance with the Laws of State of Florida
(1947 Special Acts -Chap 24789 Sec 4).
Reports for the months of March and April made by Constable W.H.
Wheeler were read, showing hours he had patrolled Town and showing
violations checked and assistance rendered.
A discussion was held on increasing salary of E.W.Cooper, Chief of
Police. It was unanimously voted that in view of his years of good
service, his salary be raised to $300.00 per month.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, motion
was made to adjourn.
