SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On March 7, 2006 the Planning and Zoning Commission held a properly posted and noticed
public hearing. The Commission heard public testimony and reviewed a staff report. The
vacation of the original Spring Mountain Boulevard right-of-way is no longer needed because the
new road alignment of Spring Mountain Boulevard is platted. The Commission found that the
application meets the requirements of MCC 3-21-310 and recommended the approval of the
application by the City Council without a second hearing.
The complete application is extensive and is not attached to this agenda bill. The complete
application is available for review in the Community Development Department.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt the draft Findings & Conclusions for VAC-06-1 and authorize the Mayor to sign.
