of Gulf Stream, Florida met in regular
session at the Town Hall in the Town of
Gulf Stream, Florida October 12th,1953.
The Town Clerk Submitted to the Town Commission on the
tentative budget which was duly adopted by Resolution of the
Town Commission at its meeting on September 14th,1953, and stated
that a copy of said tentative budget had been posted on the
Town Bulletin Board of the Town from September 14th,1953 to
October 12,1953, and that no complaints or obhections had been
filed with the Town Clerk as to the items set forth in said
budget.
Thereupon the following resolution was offered for adoption:
BE IT RESOLVED that the hereinafter set forth tentative budget
be and the same is hereby adopted as the permanent and fixed
budget of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida:

The above and foregoing resolution, on motion duly made, seconded
and carried, was unanimously adopted by the Town Commission.
The following resolution was offered for adoption:
WHEREAS, a
the permanent budget having been fixed and approved, the 1953
Tax Roll having been certified to the Town Commission by the Town
Tas Assessor as having been completed with all tax millages extemded,
and is ready for certification to the Town Tax Collector;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Tax Assessor is hereby
instructed and directed to certify and turn over his 1953 Tax Roll
to the Town Tax Collector for collection of said taxes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Tqx Collector is hereby
authorized and instructed to proceed with the collection of said
taxes, as shown on said 1953 Tax Roll, in accordance with the
Charter Act of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the foregoing
resolution was unanimously adopted by the Town Commission.
Theree being no further business to come before the meeting, it
was adjourned.
