SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On August 2, 2004, the City Council authorized a lease -option agreement with Silvertip, LLC for
the construction of a regional sewer lift station with the Mountain Meadows subdivision (a part of
the Spring Mountain Ranch PUD). The agreement was amended January 26, 2006 to address
changes to the construction and payment schedule. The original and amended agreements are
attached.
The proposed second amendment to the lease -option agreement reduces the number of sewer
hookups available to Silvertip, LLC and allocates those connections over a four year period.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the amendment to the lease -option agreement.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Second Amendment to the Lease/Option Agreement and authorize the Mayor
to sign all necessary documents.
