RESOLUTION NO. 92-3189
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY CONFIRMING THE VACATION OF AN
UNDEVELOPED EASEMENT FOR FUTURE STREET
SITUATED APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET NORTH OF FREER
STREET EXTENDING WESTWARD FROM HALIFAX ROAD
TO APPROXIMATELY 125 FEET WEST OF ARDEN DRIVE
IN THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
WHEREAS, on October 6, 1992, the dedicated "easement for future street" extending from Halifax Road to
west of Arden Drive was determined by the City Council to be unnecessary for the development of a public street, and
WHEREAS, the subject easement interferes with the development of private properties affected by the
easement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request to vacate the subject easement, and
WHEREAS, Section 8333 of the Streets and Highways Code allows a local agency to summarily vacate such
an easement without a public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The subject "easement for future street" in Lot 1, Block A and in Lots 1 and 8, Block B, Tract
No. 11699 (Los Angeles County Recorder's Map Book 218, page 49, is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of
original resolutions.
