AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 05-36 AMENDING AND
SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 128 ENTITLED FIRE PREVENTION OF
THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
("Borough") as follows: .
Section 1.
Section 2.
Section 3.
Section 4.
Schedule I of Ordinance No. 05-36, amending and supplementing
Chapter 128, entitled FIRE PREVENTION and creating a new
Article V to be entitled "Control of Hazardous Substances", is
hereby amended as follows, with the balance of said ordinance
remaining unchanged:
A. Delete the multiplier ".01" and replace it with ".001".
B. Delete the multiplier ".03" and replace it with ".003".
All ordinances and/or provIsIOns thereof inconsistent with the
provision of this Article shall be and are hereby repealed as to the
extent of any such inconsistencies, except however should another
municipal ordinance contain provisions which are more restrictive
then those set forth in this Article, the more restrictive provision
shaH apply.
If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Article
shaH be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent
jurisdiction, the section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be
deemed to be severable from the remainder of this Article.
This Article shall take effect upon' passage and publication
according to applicable law.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Mayor and Council of

Section 2.
All ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsis-
tent with the provision of this Article shall be and

inconsistencies, except however should another
municipal ordinance contain provisions which are

Section 3.

Section 4.
This Article shall take effect upon passage and

meeting of the Council of the Borough of Carteret
held September 22, 2005 when it was adopted on
First Reading. The said ordinance will be further
considered on Second Reading for final adoption at
