Movies in the Park Return to Ida Lee on Fridays This Summer
“Annie” kicks off the season on Friday, May 19.
Leesburg, VA (May 1, 2017) – Get the popcorn ready! The Town of Leesburg will once again be
hosting Movies in the Park this summer. This free series will feature an evening movie on the
third Friday of each month throughout the summer, hosted at Ida Lee Park.
Mark your calendars now! This summer’s dates and movies are:
May 19 Annie, starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz
June 16 Little Giants, starring Rick Moranis and Ed O’Neill
July 21 Air Bud, starring Buddy, the Golden Retriever
August 18 The Pink Panther, starring Steven Martin and Kevin Kline
Show time will begin at dusk, between 8:15pm and 8:45pm. Picnics and blankets are
encouraged! Pets, glass containers, and alcohol are prohibited.
