AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2001 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for calendar year 2001; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the 2001 budget be amended as follows:
A. Park Fund – Parks Department
1. Delete $8,200.00 from Salary & Wages
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.1196
2. Add $5,000.00 Electric Services
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.3510
3. Add $1,000.00 to Water Services
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.2540
4. Add $1,200.00 to Professional Services
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.3120
5. Add $1,000.00 to Training & Education
Existing account no. 219.19.190.190.000.3911
Passed and adopted this 5th day of November, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
