The Council of the Village of Medina met in regular session on Wednesaay,
November 7, 1973 at 7:40 P. M.

Donald Des Lauriers present.
The minutes of the meeting of October 2, 1973 read. Moved by Robert Franklin
to approve the minutes as read.

The minutes of the special meeting of October 4, 1973 read.

Moved by Arthur Theis that we declt e Wayne Neddermeyer as mayor for two
years and declare Robert Frankli4bouncilman for three years.

Wayne Neddermeyer and Robert Franklin were sworn into office.
Bids for the small house on the village property were opened. Bids as
follows: Fred Breitbarth $200.00. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to accept
the bid from Fred Breitbarth for the house located on the village property
in the amount of a200.00, also grant him permission to move it over
Village roads.

The Council determined to have the number for the Village hall on Cp.Rd.

Graydon McCulley and Gene Tomlinson appeared with regard to Mannix project.
Moved by Robert Franklin that we approve a statement that we have no objection
to upgrading Arrowhead Drive to a nine ton specifications and furthers move
that we refer the plans of the Mannix Co. to the Planning Administer.

Moved by Robert Franklin to make.furtherfl changes with regard to Lots 3,
4 and 5, Block 19 as outlined in the letter attached to these minutes, same
addre5ed to Tax Forfeit Land Division.

Read letter of explanation from Anne Dorweiler with regard to John Day situation.
ved by Donald Des Lauriers that we release his •; 3000.00 cashier's check to
ohn Day as per the recommendations of the Zoning Administr^tor.

Moved by Robert Franklin to pass Resolution 73-21 Anproving the expenditures
of Federal Revenue sharing funds for the Village of Meding (Said resolution
attached hereto)

Moved by Robert Franklin to adopt Ordinance #147,An ordinance amending ordinance
120 of the Villa of Medina relating to the municipal sewer and water systems of
the Village of Medina and setting it up so we can amend the rates with a
resolution.

A meeting announced of the °ounty Commissioners for November 19 at 7:30
at th City Hall.
Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills as follows: Payroll in the amount of
$6,907.79 and order checks in the amount of 834,287.20.

at.8:00.o'clock at the Village Hall to meet with Pillsbury, Adams and Jude
and _others.

car according to specifications.

Ed Sorgatt from Hennepin County Park Reserve reported thetas to the
fire on the Mueller property in 1970, the Park AL bringing a suitagginst
Mr. Mueller for taxes he did not pay and they will include this $65.00
in this suit.
He also gave a report on the sno1

pile trails in the Park.

A1_1 members present, also Don Stotts, Art Jubert and Mr. Head
and Mr. Waltham of the Community Her=lth and Welfare.
Discus -;ion of the matter of the Tamarack Rd. and Dick Schieffer is drawing up
an agreement to be signed by all interested parties.
Moved by Robert Franklin to send a letter to the Hennepin County Delegation
with regard to park and trails.
