Meet the Art sPARKs Sculpture Artists at “Arts in the Park” on
Saturday, May 20, 2017
Creators of the five Art sPARKs sculptures will be on hand to discuss their works.
Leesburg, VA (May 10, 2017) – Immediately
following the dedication of the new
LOVEworks sculpture on Harrison Street on
Saturday, May 20, 2017, Arts in the Park will
take over Raflo Park from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m.
Sponsored by the Friends of Leesburg Public
Arts (FOLPA), this event will provide visitors
with the opportunity to meet and talk with the
creators of the five works of art on the Art
sPARKs sculpture trail. The sculptures will be on display through June 2018 and are available for
purchase. In July 2018, five new sculptures will be installed for a two-year display.
In addition, visitors can browse over a dozen booths of local artists showcasing a variety of art
works. Mudlark, a rock and blues band, will provide live music from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
There will be food for purchase from Pittsburgh Rick’s from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For more
