A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
A CONTRACT FOR THE REHABILITATION OF WELL N0.8 TO SOCAL PUMP &
WELL DRILLING, INC. AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Well No. 8 Rehabilitation Project is listed under the Capital
Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.975 for fiscal year 2008-2009, and is funded
with the 2009 Water Bond proceeds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening for this project took place on March 18, 2009, and
SoCal Pump & Well Drilling, Inc. was the apparent lowest responsible bidder at
$112,082.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the Contractor has the
necessary experience and expertise for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the contract of $112,082.00 for the Rehabilitation of Well No.
8, Project No. 4011.67.975 be awarded to SoCal Pump & Well Drilling, Inc..
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the Lynwood City Council and SoCal Pump & Well Drilling, Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon. its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 2009.
