A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE REHABILITATION OF WELL -NO.. 5 PROJECT,, PROJECT
NUMBER 4011.67.900, AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF
COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on May 16, 2008 the City Council awarded a contract to
General Pump Company in the amount of $95,680; and
WHEREAS, the Project Construction started on June 10, 2008, and was
completed on September 16, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost of the project is $88,866; and
WHEREAS, Public Works Department conducted the final inspection on
September 17, 2008, and found that all work is complete in accordance with the
project plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the
Rehabilitation of Well No. 5 Project, Project No. 4011.67.900, as complete in
accordance with the contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to
process the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2 . This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
