APPROVING WARRANTY REPLACEMENT OF
STREET SWEEPER PURCHASED THROUGH MCIA
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret ("Borough") previously went out to bid and
subsequently purchased a Sweeprite Street Sweeper; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has experienced problems with the Sweeprite Street Sweeper's
belt conveyor system; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has determined that the Sweeprite Street Sweeper can not
adequately be repaired through the existing warranty program; and
WHEREAS, the Borough wishes to rep]ace the Sweeprite Street Sweeper through a
purchase agreement with the manufacturer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Counci] of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1.
That the Borough is hereby authorized to enter into a purchase and
trade agreement with the manufacturer for the replacement of the
Sweeprite Street Sweeper. .
