Home My Public Portal Aboutr 05:315 ~ZeznIuiiDn Df i4£ ~DtüU£tr üf CIImj£tei) ~ - W- No. --1.05=-11') Date of Adoption Oc.tober 2L, 2005 AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH BEACON PLANNING AND CONSULTING SERVICES, LLC, FOR THE PREPARATION OF A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE MIDDLESEX AVENUE RESIDENTIAL REDEVELOPMENT AREA WHEREAS, the Borough. of Carteret previously awarded a professional planning services contract to Beacon Planning for the preparation of a Redevelopment I'lan for the Middlesex Avenue Residential Redevelopment Area; and WHEREAS, Beacon Planning has advised the Borough that additional funds are needed to complete the redevelopment plan given the scope of the project and is requested additional funding to complete the same at an addition cost not to exceed $4,500; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal for additional funds; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows: I. The proposal from Beacon Planning and Consulting Services, LLC, for additional funding to complete the preparation of a Redevelopment Plan for the Middlesex Avenue Residential Redevelopment Area at an additional cost not to exceed $4,500 is hereby approved; 2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant to NJ.S.A 40AII-5(1)(a) 3. The copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department and Beacon Plmming.
