The City Council of Medina, Minnesota met in special session on November 10, 2014 at
6:01 p.m. in the City Hall Chambers. Mayor Elizabeth Weir presided.
I. ROLL CALL
Members present: Martin, Martinson, and Weir.
Members absent: Anderson and Pederson
Also present: City Administrator Scott Johnson.
II. Resolution No. 2014-79 Approving Canvass of Returns and Declaring the
Results of the Municipal Election Held on November 4.2014
Johnson presented the draft resolution to approve the canvass of returns declaring the
results of the municipal election. He noted the Mayoral term would be for two years, the
Council Member terms would be for four years beginning the first Monday of2015, and
the Special Election Council Member term would be for two years beginning December
2, 2014.
Moved by Martinson, seconded by Martin, to approve resolution no. 2014-79 approving
canvass of returns and declaring the results of the municipal election held on November
4, 2014. Motion passed unanimously.
III. ADJOURN
Moved by Martin, seconded by Martinson, to adjourn the meeting at 6:05 p.m. Motion
passed unanimously.
