The City Council of Medina, Minnesota met in special session on November 14, 2012 at
6:01 p.m. in the City Hall Chambers. Acting Mayor Elizabeth Weir presided.
I. ROLL CALL
Members present: Martinson, Pederson, Siitari and Weir.
Members absent: Crosby
Also present: City Administrator Scott Johnson.
II. Resolution Approving Canvass of Returns and Declaring the Results of the
Municipal Election Held on November 6, 2012
Johnson presented the draft resolution to approve the canvass of returns declaring the
results of the municipal election. He noted the Mayoral term would be for two years and
the Council Member terms would be for four years beginning the first Monday of 2013.
Moved by Pederson, seconded by Siitari, to approve resolution approving canvass of
returns and declaring the results of the municipal election held on November 6, 2012, as
amended. Motion passed unanimously.
III. ADJOURN
Moved by Siitari, seconded by Pederson, to adjourn the meeting at 6:08 p.m. Motion
passed unanimously.
