A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF $406,835.52 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY LOW TO MODERATE INCOME HOUSING
FUND TO MEET THE NOTICE OF RULING RE: ORDER OF MARCH 23, 2009
RELATING TO THE SETTLEMENT ON THE ROGEL V. AGENCY LITIGATION
AND DIRECTING THE REPLENISHMENT OF THE GENERAL FUNDS AFTER
THE IMMEDIATE RECONCILIATION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
FUNDS
WHEREAS, on March 17, 2009, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency
( "Agency ") Board approved the Stipulation and Order settling certain litigation
claims brought against the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency ; and
WHEREAS, the Agency must now conform with the settlement
stipulations to prevent any findings of default; and
WHEREAS, on April 30, 2009 a request was made to the City Treasurer
to transfer $406,835.52 from the City's General Fund to the Lynwood
Redevelopment Agency Low to Moderate Income Housing Fund upon advise
from Agency Special Counsel to ensure compliance with the Notice of Ruling Re:
Order of March 23, 2009.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY FIND, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the City Council ratifies and approves the transfer of
$406,835.52 from the General Fund to the Redevelopment Agency Low to
Moderate Income Housing Funds as follows:

Section 2: That the City Council directs staff to replenish the General
Fund of $406,835.52 immediately after reconciliation of the Agency funds.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
