A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT
AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR ORIGINAL TOWN DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS —
SANITARY SEWER INFLOW & INFILTRATION REDUCTION PROJECT
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin is set to award a bid for the Original Town
Design Improvements — Sanitary Sewer Inflow & Infiltration Reduction Project; and,
Whereas, the City Council must first approve the plans, specifications, form of contract
and estimate of cost for the project,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the Original Town Design
Improvements — Sanitary Sewer Inflow & Infiltration Reduction Project be approved with
the approval of this resolution.
On the 16th day of February, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTION No. 2016-013, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE
OF COST FOR ORIGINAL TOWN DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS — SANITARY SEWER
INFLOW & INFILTRATION REDUCTION PROJECT and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Haven.
Ayes: Havens, Upton, Kahler, Ryan, Bartels,
Nays: none.
Absent: none
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION No. 2016-013, A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR
ORIGINAL TOWN DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS — SANITARY SEWER INFLOW &
INFILTRATION REDUCTION PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 16th day of February, 2016.
