MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 15, 1990
I. Call to Order and Roll Call
Mayor Allen called the meeting to order at 7:07 P.M.
Councilmen McCarty, Van Komen, Wallace and Larson
answered the roll call. The Mayor declared a quorum
present.
II. Interviews, City Attorney_
Mayor Allen noted the sole purpose of the meeting was to
interview the four respondents to the city's Request for
Proposals. Each Councilman had received copies of the
written proposals.
The Council then, in open session, interviewed Clayton
Anderson, William Killen, Michael Pierce and Robert
Remaklus, concluding at 8:50 P.M.
III. Executive Session
At 8:55 P.M., McCarty moved to conduct an Executive
Session pursuant to Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (a)
to consider the hiring of a city attorney. Wallace
seconded and on a roll call vote, McCarty, Van Komen,
Wallace and Larson voted AYE.
At 10:00 P.M. the Council returned to Regular Session.
Mayor Allen reported that the Council had discussed
hiring a city attorney and instructed the City
Administrator to present the program for multi -year
contract to the individuals discussed and to report at
the next Council meeting the results of those
discussions.
IV. Adjournment
Van Komen moved to adjourn. Wallace seconded and the
motion carried.
