AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATIONS TO AND REDUCTIONS FROM CERTAIN FUNDS
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana passed an annual budget for fiscal year 2001 on September 28, 2002 (Ordinance No. 65 – 2000); and
WHEREAS, it has been determined it is now necessary to appropriate additional sums of money to certain funds and to reduce other funds; and
WHEREAS, it has been show that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances that will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, thus allowing the aforementioned
reductions.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the following appropriations and/or reductions are hereby approved for the funds as indicated:
1. Reduction in General Fund
B.O.W. - $320,000.00
2. Increase in General Fund
Fire Department - $135,000.00
3. Increase in General Fund
Police Department - $280,000.00
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of December, 2001, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
