MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 28, 1991
I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Councilman Gary Van Komen at
7:00 P.M. Present were Councilmen Van Komen, Wallace, and
Larson. Staff members present were Deputy Clerk Henderson and
Building Inspector Mitre.
II. BUILDING INSPECTION PROGRAM
The chair asked for public comment concerning the building
inspection program. The following persons testified:
Tom Haynes
Bud Carpenter
David Kalange
Andy Laidlaw
Tim Swanson
Ernest Wood
Duane Smith
Rich Collins
Joe Johnson
Ray Alford
Harvey Meyer
Rich Bolen
Larry Bratcher
Steve Castillo
Don Hall
There being no further public comment the chair closed the
public comment period. After discussion the Council appointed a
committee comprised of Tom Haynes, Rich Collins, David Kalange,
Larry Bratcher, Bill Rice and Councilman John Larson. This
committee will meet with Mr. Mitre to develop guidelines as to
plan review requirements, the need for architect's or engineer
approved plans, and other issues expressed.
III. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:30
P.M.
