A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM REGARDING PLANNED AREA
DEVELOPMENT (PAD) APPLICATIONS
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin wants to implement changes to the City
Zoning Code relating to Planned Area Developments within the City;
Whereas, the City Council feels it necessary to extend the moratorium for further
research the necessary changes to accepting new PAD applications, effective February
16, 2016 - August 16, 2016, to allow the City more time to review its procedures
relating to Planned Area Developments and draft a new PAD Ordinance.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
moratorium regarding PAD applications be extended until August 16, 2016, with
approval of this resolution.
On the 16th day of February, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced RESOLUTION No. 2016-015, A RESOLUTION
EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM REGARDING PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT
(PAD) APPLICATIONS made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Havens, Upton, Kahler, Ryan, Bartels,
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION No. 2016-015, A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE
MORATORIUM REGARDING PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT (PAD)
APPLICATIONS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 16th day of February, 2016.
