A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE
AMENDMENT TO SECTION 7.04(e), PARKING OR LOADING SPACE
Whereas, The City realizes that a clarification and update needs to be made in section
7.04(e) of the zoning code, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it is in the best interest of
the City to amend and update section 7.04(e);
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a
public hearing for this Ordinance Amendment for March 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
On the 8th day of March, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2016-020, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO SECTION
7.04(e), PARKING OR LOADING SPACE and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Havens.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2016-020, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO SECTION 7.04(e), PARKING OR
LOADING SPACE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 8th day of March, 2016.

E. For properties zoned: C-1113, C-2113, C-10, C-20, C -IS:
The parking of trucks, vans, or cars, accessory to a permitted business, when
used in operation of the permitted business as listed in Districts C-113, C-213, C-
10, C-20, and C-1 S, are be limited to vehicles of not over one and one-half (1%)
tons capacity when located within one hundred fifty (150) feet of a residential
district boundary line, or stored, parked, or otherwise confined to the premises
overnight.
For properties zoned: R1 -A, R1 -B, R1 -C, R1-0, R-2, R-4, R.B. R-12:
Commercial vehicles with a chassis rating of over one ton shall not be stored or
parked on premises unless completely confined within the primary or accessory
building.
