SPECIAL CALL COUNCIL MEETING
A JOINT MEETING WITH THE
VALLEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
I. Call to Order and Roll Call:
Chairman Olson called the meeting to order for the
Commission. Mayor Smith called the City Council to order
at 7:14 p.m. in the SCS Office, Donnelly, Idaho.
Councilmen VanKomen, Wallace, Larson and LeBrett answered
the roll call and the Mayor declared a quorum present.
II. PROPOSED ORDINANCE ON THE AREA OF CITY IMPACT:
Mayor Smith reported on progress in negotiating the
matter of a joint ordinance to reactivate the Impact
Planning and Zoning Commission. Commissioner Kerrick also
noted details of those negotiations. Commissioner Olson
asked that the entire document be reviewed. Attorney
Burton reviewed the details of the proposed legislation.
After lengthy discussion, VanKomen moved to accept
the draft ordinance in its negotiated form and authorize a
notice of hearing be published and a hearing set on the
proposed ordinance. Wallace seconded and the motion carried
unanimously.
II. ADJOURNMENT:
At 8:15, without further business, Wallace moved to
adjourn. VanKomen seconded and the motion carried.
