MINUTES, SPECIAL MEETING
FEBRUARY 17, 1993
I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
Mayor Smith called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. in the
Donnelly Fire Hall. Councilmen VanKomen, Wallace and LeBrett
answered the roll call. Councilman Larson was absent. The Mayor
declared a quorum present and noted the purpose of the meeting
which was for discussing matters of mutual concern with other
elected officials in the County.
II. VALUED RESOURCE GROUP PRESENTATION:
Cutler Umbach introduced the VALUED Resource Group and
discussed its history and evolution. The Board then heard
presentations from the Boise and Payette Forests, Idaho
Department of Lands, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Soil
Conservation Service, Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation,
and Bureau of Reclaimation regarding the various missions of
those agencies and current activities of each of their agencies.
III. DIENHARD-BOYDSTON CONNECTOR, LEAD AGENCY: The matter was
discussed and the City and County staff were directed to discuss
the matter and advise the group at the next meeting.
IV. LEGAL SERVICES, IMPACT PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: The
Commission received a letter from the Impact Commission asking
that Attorney Burton staff the Committee. The County Commission
anticipated that this matter would be before them for their
approval within the next week.
V. NEXT MEETING: The next meeting was scheduled for March 10,
1993 in the Donnelly Fire Hall. Discussion of agenda
coordination between the City and County ensued.
VI. ADJOURNMENT:
Without further business, the meeting ad ojned a 9:20 p.m.
