RESOLUTION AWARDING SEWER REPAIR AGREEMENT-
81 BERNARD STREET
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, through the Borough Engineer, T & M Associates,
has received three (3) quotes from sewer utility contractors to repair a damaged sewer
lateral connection at 81 Bernard Street; and
WHEREAS, B & W Construction Company submitted the lowest quote for said work in
the amount of $4,750.00; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has recommended that the Borough award a contract
to B & W Construction Company to complete said repairs; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has indicated that funding is
available for the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council that the proposal
from B & W Construction Company for the repair of the damaged sewer lateral
connection at 81 Bernard Street in the amount of $4,750.00, a copy of which is attached
hereto, is hereby approved.
Adopted this 16th day of August, 2001
and certified as a true copy of the
original on August 17, 2001.
