A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE TIFFIN PARKS AND RECREATION
IMPROVEMENT PLAN — PHASE 1 PROJECT
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin received bids for the Tiffin Parks and
Recreation Improvement Plan — Phase 1 Project; and,
Whereas, the City Council has identified Woodruff Construction as having the lowest,
most responsible bid; and,
Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the project and begin the contractual
process,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to
authorize the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to sign all necessary notices,
documents and forms of contract as required and necessary to execute a contract with
Woodruff Construction as identified and recommended by the City Engineer.
On the 5th day of April, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Kahler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2016-024, A RESOLUTION TO
AWARD BID FOR THE TIFFIN PARKS AND RECREATION IMPROVEMENT PLNA —
PHASE 1 PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Kahler, Upton, Bartels, Havens.
Nays: None
Absent: Ryan.
Whereupon Four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2016-024, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR
THE TIFFIN PARKS AND RECREATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN — PHASE 1
PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 5th day of April, 2016.
