A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
AN APPLICATION FOR A CLEAN WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN IN
AND FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin has proposed to make improvements to the City's
wastewater conveyance and treatment system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin has applied for project funding through the State Clean
Water Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loan program jointly administered by the Iowa
Finance Authority and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources; and
WHEREAS, the CWSRF loan program requires a Public Hearing to make available to
the public the contents of an environmental information document and the City's Facility Plan
pertaining to the project; now,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa:
The date for the Public Hearing of the aforementioned activity is set for May 17tH,
2016, at 7:00 PM, at the location of Tiffin City Hall.
On the 5th day of April, 2016, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced Resolution No. 2016-025, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING AN
APPLICATION FOR A CLEAN WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN IN AND
FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Kahler.
AYES: Kahler, Upton, Bartels, Havens.
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Ryan.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor
Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2016-025, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE
DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING AN APPLICATION FOR A
CLEAN WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN IN AND FOR THE CITY OF
TIFFIN to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 5th day of April, 2016.
