RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEW A.B.C. HOTEL LICENSE
·WHEREAS" application has been made to the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret; County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, by Muer Restaurant Holdings, LLC,
for a new A.B.C. Hotel License; and
WHEREAS, according to law, the application was duly advertised in the Rome News
Triþúne, a newspaper circulated in the Borough of Carteret and no objections, either
verbally orin writing, were filed, or made to the Governing Body or to the Municipal
Clerk regarding said, transfer; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has disclosed and the local authority has reviewed the source
o£all funds used in the purchase of said license arid the licensed business and all
additional financing obtained in connection with the licensed business; and
'VHEREAS, the application fonn is complete in all respects and_ the applicant is
qualifted to be licensed according to all standards established by Titre 33 of the New
Jersey Statutes, promulgated thereunder, as _well as pertinent local ordinances and
conditions consistent with Title 33.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that a
new ABC Hotel License, iss;ued as a hotel exception, is heretofore granted to Muer
Restaurant Holdings, LLC, to sell alcoholic beverages in confonnity with the Jaws,
statutes, rules and regulations, of the State of New Jersey and with the resolutions,
ordinances, rules and regulations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and concerning
said license and to be held by them until said license expires, unless sooner revoked.
BE IT-FURTHER RESOLVED, said license is issued as a Hotel Exception License for
a facility containing one hundred or more sleeping rooms and may only be used in
connection with a hotel or motel.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the endorsement of this application on behalf of the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution bc sellt
forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of
Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087, Trenton, New Jersey 08625-
0087.
