McCall City Council
Monday, January 9, 1995
Call to Order and Roll Call
1. The meeting was called to order at 11:30 AM, January 9, 1995. Mr. Martens, Mrs. Arp, Mr.
Killen and Mr. Colton answered the roll call. The mayor declared that a quorum was present.
Staff members present were City Manager Shimun, City Attorney Burton, City Clerk/Treasurer
Henderson and Police Chief Parker.
Proposed Highway 55 Bypass Alternative
2. Mr. Shimun asked to add this item to the agenda. The council heard a presentation by Rick
Orton, Dave Pugh and Judd Deboer concerning a proposal to realign the proposed Highway 55
bypass. The council took no action.
Long Range Planning
3. The council continued its discussion of long range planning. Chief Parker gave a presentation of
the activities and projections for the Police Department and answered questions from the council.
The council took no action.
City Manager's Report
3. Mr. Shimun recommended that the council meet twice a month on the first and third Monday to
discuss long range planning. By consensus, the council agreed.
Adjournment
4. Without further business, Mr. Martens moved to adjourn. Mr. Colton seconded and the motion
carried. The council adjourned at 1:15 PM.
