McCall City Council
Monday, January 23, 1995
Special Call Meeting
Call to order and roll call
1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Dean Martens at 11:30 AM, Monday, January 23,
1995.
2. Mrs. Arp and Messrs. Killen, Colton, and Martens answered the roll call. The mayor declared
that a quorum was present. Mr. Eckhardt arrived a 12:15 PM.
Long Range Planning
3. Dale Points gave a presentation outlining a proposal to consolidate the City Fire Department with
the Rural Fire District into a Fire District, separate from the City. He further outlined plans to
relocate the Fire Station to the north end of the Airport and plans for 24-hour staffing.
Other Discussion
4. By consensus the council agreed to meet at 11:30 Tuesday, January 31, 1995 to prepare the
appraisal and instructed the clerk to so notice the meeting and include notice that an executive
session may be necessary.
5. The clerk reported that the auditors were ready to present their report and requested a one and
one-half hour work session. The council agreed to hear the report on Monday, February 6, 1995
at 11:30 PM.
Adjournment
6. Without further business Mr. Colton moved to adjourn. Mr. Eckhardt seconded and the motion
carried. The council adjourned at 1:00 PM.
