McCall City Council
Special Meeting
Monday, March 6, 1995
I. Call to Order and Roll Call. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Dean
Martens at 12:00 noon. Messrs. Martens, Killen, Colton and Mrs. Arp answered the roll
call. Mr. Eckhardt arrived at 12:10 pm. Staff members present were City Manager, Gary
Shimun, City Attorney, Ted Burton, and Deputy City Clerk, Darlene Everhart.
Old Business
II. Zoning Ordinance No. 677. An ordinance relating to the rezoning of the real
property described within from Zone R-10 to Zone C and the amendment of the Zoning
Map of the City of McCall Planning Jurisdiction was presented. Mr. Burton reviewed the
ordinance with the Council. After a brief discussion in which it was agreed that the
property described was more appropriately zoned as Commercial, Mr. Killen moved to
suspend the rules which call to eliminate three different readings, and to read by title only.
Mrs. Arp seconded. At a roll call vote, Mr. Killen, Mr. Martens, Mr. Colton and Mrs.
Arp voted "aye". Mr. Burton then read the ordinance by title. Mr. Martens moved to
adopt Ordinance No. 677 as presented. Mr. Killen seconded. At a roll call vote Messrs.
Martens, Killen, Colton, Mrs. Arp voted "aye".
III. Golf Course Fees, Season Passes and Discount Books. Carl Hoss was present
and discussed at length the administration of discount passes, season passes and daily fees.
Advantages and disadvantages of various methods of administration were discussed and
Mr. Hoss handed out 1994 golf season statistical recaps. Mr Eckhardt suggested last
year's minutes on the subject in addition to further information from staff be reviewed
before a decision is made.
Adjournment
IV. Without further business Mr. Eckhardt moved to adjourn. Mr. Killen seconded
and the motion carried. The council adjourned at 1:00 pm.
