TIP Amendment #2 of 2023-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Action Requested: Review and discussion, recommendation to the CAMPO Board of Directors for approval, and open a seven-day comment period. Staff Report: The amendment consists of the addition of two new MoDOT projects and four new pedestrian/bicycle projects as a result of funding awarded to communities via the Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) grants: • TIP #2023-15 Jefferson City – Greenway crosswalks at Southwest Boulevard and Lafayette Street $278,429 in Programmed Funds - Transportation Alternative Program Award The project includes improvements to greenway crosswalks at Southwest Boulevard and Lafayette Street. The project will occur in Program Year (PY) 2024. • TIP #2023-16 Jefferson City – Wears Creek Greenway Extension Bypassing MO 179 $983,465 in Programmed Funds - Transportation Alternative Program Award The project includes extension of the Wears Creek Greenway along Tree Valley Lane, bypassing MO 179. The project will occur in PY 2024. • TIP #2023-17 Holts Summit – Sidewalk construction along S. Summit Drive $625,000 in Programmed Funds - Transportation Alternative Program Award The project includes extension of sidewalk along S. Summit Drive. The project will occur in PY 2023 and 2024. The project will occur in PY 2023 and 2024. • TIP #2023-19 (MoDOT #CD036) Striping Upgrades – US 50 $398,000 in Programmed Funds The project includes striping on US 50 in Moniteau, Cole, and Osage Counties. The project will occur in PY 2023. • TIP #2023-20 (MoDOT #CD0133) Striping Upgrades – US 54 $736,000 in Programmed Funds The project includes striping on US 54 in Miller, Cole, and Callaway Counties.
