HomeMy Public PortalAboutCouncil Minutes 1996 11/19MINUTES McCall City Council Special Meeting November 19, 1996 1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Killen at 11:30 AM. Mr. Martens, Mr. Colton, Ms. Arp and Mr. Killen answered the roll call. Staff members present were City Manager Gary Shimun, City Attorney Ted Burton, and City Clerk Treasurer Jim Henderson, City Engineer Jackie DeClue and Recreation Director Bob Peckham. 2. Proposal for Cross -Country Skiing. Bob Peckham gave a report proposing to groom cross-country ski trails on public rights -of -way in Spring Mountain Ranch. After discussion, Mr. Colton moved to accept the proposal as presented. Mr. Martens seconded and the motion carried unanimously. 3. Mr. Burton presented a copy of the J-Lateral Ditch 3-party agreement. 4. Ms. DeClue pointed out that the McCall Museum and Interpretive Center had received a grant from Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation but since the city owned the property the grant would be paid to the city. Ms. DeClue as the council to set a hearing to amend the budget to appropriate these grant funds. The council by consensus directed staff to notice a hearing for December 19, 1996. 5. Transfer of Alcoholic Beverage License - Sharlie's Lake Street Hideaway. Mr. Henderson reported that Chief Parker was unwilling to recommend approval at this time without additional investigation. Mr. Killen then moved to table the matter until after completion of the investigation. Mr. Colton seconded and the motion carried. 6. Without further business, Mr. Colton moved to adjourn.
