HomeMy Public PortalAboutCouncil Minutes 1996 12/31MINUTES McCall City Council Special Meeting Tuesday, December 31, 1996 1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Killen at 11:30 A.M. Ms. Arp, Messrs. Colton, Martens and Killen answered the roll call. A quorum was present. Staff members present were City Manager Gary Shimun, City Attorney Ted Burton, City Clerk -Treasurer Jim Henderson and Police Chief Ed Parker. 2. Minutes of December 5, 1996 After discussion, Mr. Colton moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Killen seconded and the motion carried unanimously. 3. Renewal of Beer and Wine License -Pizza Factory. Mr. Henderson gave a report. Ms. Arp moved to approve the renewal for 1997. Mr. Colton seconded and the motion carried unanimously. 4. Proposed Ordinance No. 710 Respecting Snowmobiles. Mr. Burton reviewed the proposed ordinance. Chief Parker gave a report. During discussion council requested several changes and instructed staff to return the proposed ordinance to the council at the regular meeting on January 9, 1997. Mr. Killen moved to suspend the rules requiring reading in full to permit the second reading of proposed Ordinance No. 710 by title only. Ms. Arp seconded. At a roll call vote, Mr. Killen, Ms. Arp, Mr. Colton and Mr. Martens voted "aye." The motion carried. Mr. Burton read the proposed ordinance by title as follows: "An Ordinance of the City of McCall, Idaho, Amending the City Code Respecting Snowmobiles; and Providing an Effective Date. 5. Without further business, Mr. Colton moved to adjourn. Mr. Killen seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The council adjourned at 1:10 P.M. William M. Killen, Mayor ames H. Henderson, City Clerk
