Present: Mace Terry, Becky Harlan, Leslie Hanson, Rod Weinschenk, Tim Trigg,
Margot Payne, David Bault
1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by M. Terry at 7:10 p.m.
2. Additional Appropriations: B. Harlan made a motion requesting that the City
Council grant additional appropriations from cash balance in the amounts of:
1. $15,700 for relocating a sanitary sewer line by Shelter Two
2. $20,000 for property acquisition and development.
The motion was seconded by T. Trigg and it passed 4—0.
3. Misc. Business:
1. Skatepark Project: A motion was made by B. Harlan to approve the skatepark
design. T. Trigg seconded the motion and it passed 4—0.
2. Phase 1 Environmental Study: A motion was made by T. Trigg to sign a contract
with DLZ Corporation for$1,375. B. Harlan seconded the motion and the motion
passed 4—0.
3. Personnel: A motion was made by B. Harlan and seconded by T. Trigg to approve
of the following hires: Joel Decapua, Seasonal Park Maintenance; Stewart Bishop,
Seasonal Park Maintenance;David Barber, Lifeguard; Stephanie Hunter, SPARK
Arts-n-Crafts Leader. The motion passed 4—0.
t" 4. Aquatic Center: The Board decided with input from the director to institute
minimum air and water temperatures for the Aquatic Center. If the water
temperature falls below 65 degrees or the air temperature falls below 70 degrees
the pool may be closed.
5. 2003 Budget: Rod informed the board that he will be meeting with the mayor next
week to talk about our budget for next year.
3. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.

On May 22, 2002 the Greencastle Park Board of Commissioners approved a motion
requesting additional appropriations from cash balance for the following:
1. $15,700 for relocating a sanitary sewer line by shelter two
2. $20,000 for property acquisition and development
