Call to Order and Roll Call
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Eimers at 7:00 P.M. Messrs. Colton, Muller,
Venable and Eimers answered the roll call. Ms. Arp was absent. A quorum was present.
Work Session on Golf Fees
Mr. Olson gave a report then asked for each person attending to provide suggestions to
alleviate the revenue short fall. Fifty suggestions were listed. Members of the Ladies Golf
Association then reviewed the list and presented the following that were mentioned most
often:
• Extra Charges
1. Charge for Multiple Rounds played the same day.
2. No show charges
3. Frequent Golfer Charges
4. Toumament Players Pay Greens Fees
• Resident/Nonresident Greens Fees
• Season Passes
• Add $1 per round for greens fees to pay extra irrigation water expenses
• Trail Fees
• Limit toumament play to 18 holes
• Increase Play during weekdays by
1. Creating a lower cost weekday season pass
2. Creating a reduced cost "punch card."
• Distinguish between Frequent Golf Card and "Punch Card."
• Lower rate during shoulder season
