MINUTES
The special meeting of the McCall City Council was called to order by Mayor Eimers at
1:30 p.m. Ms. Arp, Mr. Colton, Mr. Eimers, Mr. Muller and Mr. Venable answered roll
call. A quorum was present. Present by telephone was City Attorney Dave Bieter.
i Executive Session
Mr. Colton moved to go into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters pursuant
to Idaho Code 67-2345(b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to
hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or
individual agent. Mr. Eimers seconded. At a roll call vote Mr. Colton, Mr. Eimers, Mr.
Venable, Ms. Arp and Mr. Muller voted "aye". The motion carried.
The City Council returned to an open meeting at approximately 3:15 p.m.
Mr. Colton moved to adopt Resolution No. 17-98 to suspend the City Manager, Brian
Olson, with pay and appoint the Police Chief, Carla Donica, as the interim City
Manager. Ms. Arp seconded. Mr. Venable declared his intent to abstain from the vote.
The motion carried with four votes in favor and Mr. Venable abstained.
Without further business, Mr. Eimers moved to adjourn. Mr. Colton seconded and the
motion carried unanimously. The Council adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
The meeting was not tape recorded as the City Clerk was not available to attend.
