Official Minutes of Special Board Meeting
To Attend the Putnam County Commissioner's Special Meeting
Held Thursday, April 24, 2003
Please note that this meeting was organized by the Putnam County Board of
Commissioners to secure public input in regards to Big Walnut Sports Park and was held
at the Putnam County Courthouse Annex (formerly known as Jones School). The
meeting was posted at the City's level as a joint meeting between the Big Walnut Sports
Park Board of Directors, City of Greencastle Common Council, Greencastle Parks &
Recreation Board of Commissioners, Putnam County Board of Commissioners, and the
Putnam County Council to discuss possible partnerships in financing the future
maintenance operations of the Big Walnut Sports Park.
The following register of attendance was recorded for members of the Greencastle Board
of Park Commissioners:
Present: Chair Mace Terry, Secretary Leslie Hanson, and Tim Trigg
Absent: Vice Chair Becky Harlan, City Council Liaison Tom Roach, Putnam
County Library Ex-Officio Member Margot Payne and Greencastle
School's Ex-Officio Member Jeff McCall
Also Present: Parks & Recreation Director Rod Weinschenk
