MINUTES
ICall To Order And Roll Call
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Eimers at 9:10 a.m. Mr. Colton, Mr. Eimers,
Mr. Muller and Mr. Venable answered the roll call. Ms. Arp was absent. A quorum was
present. Members of the staff present were City Manager Bill Robertson and City Clerk
Cherry Woodbury. Also present were Attorney Kim Trout and Rick Orton.
IExecutive Session

Mr. Muller moved to go to Executive Session per Idaho Code 67-2345(f) to consider
pending litigation. Mr. Venable seconded. At a roll call vote Mr. Muller, Mr. Venable,
Mr. Eimers and Mr. Colton voted "aye". The motion carried.
After discussion with legal counsel Mr. Trout, Council agreed to a 10 minute recess.
The Executive Session reconvened at 11:10 a.m.
Mr. Muller moved to come out of Executive Session. Mr. Eimers seconded and
the motion carried unanimously.
IBusiness
The discussion during Executive Session pertained to the -Montgomery Watson
litigation.
Mr. Colton requested that Mr_ Rtheftsert.contact the Transportation Committee,
the Parks & Recreations Committee, and Urban Renewal to discuss the closure
of East Lake Street. Mc Colton noted he had met with John Carey and Jack
Marshall. Mr. Colton then excused himself from the Council meeting.
Mr. Robertson then reported on the Downtown Improvement Project. Mr. Eimers
moved to approve in advance, due to time constraints, the signing of .the contract on
the . Downtown Improvement Project based on stipulation that the contract would be
equal to or less than the budgeted amount projected by the engineers. Mr. Muller
seconded. At a roll call vote Mr. Eimers, Mr. Muller, and Mr. Venable voted "aye". The
motion carried.
IAdjournment
Without further business, Mr. Muller moved to adjourn. Mr. Venable seconded and the
motion carried unanimously. The Council adjourned at 11:50 a.m.
